Spin for Carly

We will be hosting a spin class fundraiser for Carly's Kids - A Foundation for Education at CORE The Center of Fitness on Sunday, April 27th, 2014. The cost for the class is $25. Due to the amount of interest CORE has also agreed to host a fitness class durning the time of the event. Please make your $25 donation out to CFNJ / Carly's Kids.

Carly's Kids Christmas

Carly really loved the holiday season. Thanksgiving and Christmas were her favorite… along with Black Friday, Cyber Monday and the day-after-Christmas sales day. She enjoyed these days even more when she was shopping with my credit card! By now she would have already picked out and purchased the things that she wanted for Christmas, of course this didn’t include the gifts that I was supposed to get without her knowing, so that she could still be surprised on Christmas morning. 

From selecting the right print for the corresponding present to lining up the pattern and making sure it was folded and tapped properly, she was painfully meticulous about wrapping gifts and expected the same from everyone else. 

This year, I want to give her the best gift that I can through the foundation. Carly was planning to take a trip to Natchez, MS this past spring to visit and spend time with the children of The Holy Family School. We have taken on a special project to raise money that will provide them with something all of us took for granted while growing up, a playground. They currently play on an open blacktop area.
